School Visits

Steeple Kids Preschool in Langhorne PA - the Author looks forward to this event every year during Read Across America Week. These children have been hearing Cyndi read her stories for years and she continues to enjoy the visits to this special place that has supported Cyndi and her books from the very beginning.

Pennypack Elementary School (Hatboro, PA) invited Cyndi back for their 50th Anniversary. Once a student there Cyndi was thrilled to return and walk the halls just as she did as young child. It was a bonus to find that some of her Teachers were still teaching and the highlight of the day was reading Nathan's Wish to the students in the library she remembered from her years there.

Crooked Billet Elementary School: The Author and the Illustrator for According to Abbey, Linda E. Kleinert, traveled from Pennypack Elementary School to Crooked Billet Elementary School, also in Hatboro, and spent the remainder of the day talking to the students about reading, writing and illustrating.

Oley Valley Elementary School - One of many exciting guests at this event, Cyndi was thrilled for the opportunity to share her stories with so many parents and children. Set up in the library the students were able to hear stories, ask questions and create books themselves.

The Wyndcroft School - Pottstown, PA - Cyndi L. Trombley and Linda E. Kleinert also were guest speakers at the Wyndcroft School. This event was for 5th through 8th graders and the Author and Illustrator enjoyed talking to the students about how to prepare manuscripts for possible publication and how for those with a flair for drawing, Linda was able to give them great pointers on how to make the most of their artwork. This was an exceptional day of learning and sharing and was enjoyed not only by the students but by the Author and Illustrator as well.
