First and foremost, Thanks to my Nemom for passing on to me her love of writing. For those of you wondering, "What's a Nemom?" Let me explain. A Nemom is a loving and very supportive Grandmother who was a talented writer of poems and stories. She shared her love of poems with me from a very early age and helped me to craft my own style when I was very young. Those of you that know me well know that story writing was not my first love. I wrote poems, like my Nemom, for many years. I was in awe of her talent and the special books she had kept over the years housing all her personal poems. Poems were her gift to those people that she loved. If you got a poem from Nemom, you were golden.

Thank you Nemom for sharing your talent with me and believing in me.

What is a Nemom?
A Nemom is a loving Grandmother that carried around the original "Nathan's Wish'' in her green vinyl purse day after day after day. Until the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into years just in case she ran into someone she hadn't shown it to before.

I miss her very much ~ Cyndi

I am very excited about the next project that I am working on. Nathan's Wish was written before I had children of my own and now that I have two beautiful, busy children my mind is full of stories!
"According to Abbey" was written a little over a year ago after a very long night with Ms. Abigail Jewel Trombley. It is especially close to my heart because it is a story told with a poetic voice.

Here is a sampling of the next story to be released....

"According to Abbey Up is Down and In is Out
A Square is Round and a Whisper's a Shout.
According to Abbey Left is Right
And Right is Wrong
Under is Over and Short is Long..."

Anyone blessed to know Abbey knows that she is 100% all girl. She is emotional and loving and sees the world a bit differently than the rest of us. She is convinced she is five (although just three) and she loves going to school every day (even though she doesn't start until September of this year). This story is still in the works but I must confess, it is basically writing itself as Abbey is so entertaining these days!
